The Breakout Room · Runway Member sign-in

Cookie Policy

Effective October 13, 2026 · Version 2026-10-13

The short version

  • We use one cookie, to keep you signed in, and a few settings saved in your browser when you choose them.
  • No analytics, advertising, social media or tracking cookies. No third-party scripts or fonts load on this website.
  • Because everything we use is needed for the site to work or is a setting you chose, we do not show a cookie banner.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar place in your browser where a site can keep a setting. Both stay on your device.

2. What we use

Cookies and browser storage used by this website
NameTypeWhat it doesHow long it lasts
runway_sessionCookie, strictly necessaryKeeps you signed in, and briefly holds a one-time security code while you sign in with Whop or link Discord. It is encrypted and signed, sent only over HTTPS, and cannot be read by page scripts.Up to 12 hours, or until you sign out
ko-themeLocal storage, your settingRemembers light or dark mode, only if you use the theme button.Until you clear it
pd.hqMode, pd.hqQualityLocal storage, your settingRemember how the 3D trading floor on your desk is shown and its graphics quality, only if you change them.Until you clear it
site_brandCookie, your settingRemembers a site design you picked, only when the design switcher is shown. It is not shown on the live site, so this cookie is not normally set.1 year

3. Third parties

This website does not load anything from other companies: no analytics, ads, pixels, social widgets, embedded videos or third-party fonts. When you click through to Whop, Discord, TradingView or another site, that site sets its own cookies under its own policy.

4. Do we need your consent?

The sign-in cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, and the other items are settings you choose by pressing a button. Laws that require cookie consent, including the EU and UK rules, exempt these uses, and U.S. law does not require consent for them. So we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add cookies that are not necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it and update this policy.

5. Your choices

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to sign in, but the public pages will still work. Clearing site data resets your theme and desk display settings.
