Risk Disclosure
Futures trading is risky
Trading futures, including Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 (MNQ) futures, involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Because futures are leveraged, a small price move can cause a large loss, and you can lose more than you deposit. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Education and software, not advice
The Breakout Room provides education, software and general, impersonal information. Nothing we publish, including indicator levels and alerts, trade ideas, Discord messages, coaching tools or anything on the Runway website, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation that a trade is suitable for you. We are not a broker, investment adviser or commodity trading advisor. Decide for yourself, and consider speaking to a licensed professional.
The indicator is a tool. Every trade is your decision.
The Breakout Room Indicator is a charting and analysis tool. It marks levels and conditions on your chart and can send alerts, but it does not tell you when to take a trade or when not to, and an alert is not an instruction to trade. We do not manage, place, approve, monitor or close trades for anyone. Whether to trade, what to trade, how much, and whether to act on any level or alert is decided by you alone, at your sole discretion.
Automation is your choice and your setup. Connecting the indicator or its alerts to an automated system, such as NinjaTrader or PickMyTrade, is entirely up to you. You open and pay for those services yourself, you choose which accounts to connect and what position sizes to use, and you can pause or disconnect automation at any time. Our help with automation is limited to tutorials and setup assistance showing how those third-party tools work. We do not have access to your accounts or logins, and orders placed by any system you connect are your orders, for which you are responsible.
Simulated and hypothetical results
Odds of passing and getting paid, "hands-off returns," coaching figures and any historical testing we describe are simulated from the strategy's past trades and each firm's rules as we read them. They are hypothetical and are not the results of real accounts.
These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.
Member results and the leaderboard
Results that members share, or that appear on the leaderboard, are calculated from those members' own imported fills. They are not checked by us against broker statements, are not typical, and do not show what you will achieve. Comments and screenshots posted by members in Discord are their own and are not checked by us.
Alerts, the indicator and automation can fail
- Alerts can arrive late, be duplicated or not arrive at all, because of TradingView, Discord, the internet, our servers or other services.
- Indicator and strategy behaviour in live markets can differ from historical charts.
- Automated orders through PickMyTrade and NinjaTrader can fill at worse prices, partly fill, fail, or be sent more than once. You must watch your accounts and be ready to step in.
- Fast markets, news events, overnight sessions and contract roll-overs can cause large, sudden moves and gaps.
Prop firms
Passing an evaluation, getting a funded account or receiving a payout is never guaranteed. Prop firms set and change their own rules on drawdown, consistency, news trading, automation, copy trading and payouts, and many restrict or ban automated trading or trade-signal services. Firm rules shown in our tools are summaries checked on the date shown and may be out of date. Always confirm the current rules with your firm. Failure and payout rates we mention are industry estimates for prop-firm traders in general and say nothing about how our strategy or you will perform. We are not affiliated with any prop firm.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, the accounts you connect, the size you trade, compliance with your firm's rules and the results. By using the Service you confirm that you understand these risks.
